When it comes to finding well-fitted petite clothing, it can be somewhat of a challenge and going through the trouble to get your clothes altered can be a hassle and time-consuming. One of my favorite petite lines is Topshop Petite. The jeans pictured below are the Topshop high-waisted petite jeans and are one of my favorite jeans because i don't have to worry about rolling up the pant leg to accommodate my height. Topshop's petite line is not limited when it comes to options compared to other brands with their own petite line. Although their full collection is not available in store, topshop.com has an extensive amount of options for petite women as well as affordable prices for everyone.
Another one of my favorite Topshop Petite pieces I own is this midi dress pictured below. I have always loved the look of midi dresses but every brand never fit the way I had wanted it to. This Topshop petite dress hits below the knee where its supposed to and the body of the dress is snug as it should be. This dress is fun and easy to dress up with heels or dress down with wedges, booties or sandals with a jean or leather jacket.
Since fall has officially begun, I have picked my favorite pieces from Topshop's current petite collection and shared them below!
I love this jacket because its a statement piece yet the colors are basic enough to wear with an everyday outfit. This jacket would look great with a pair of black jeans, distressed jeans, leather pants or a fun colored pant like maroon. Because the jacket is already detailed, a solid colored top would look best but because of its basic colors, any color would look great whether its a white tank, a bright pink blouse or a black lace-up top. Since the jacket's neckline is high, a top with a lower neckline would look best under a jacket like this. A solid colored heel or flat would look great with this jacket and any color would match with this statement piece.
I love this fun blouse because its a closet essential with its basic color scheme but it is also another statement piece. A top like this would look great with distressed jeans, high-waisted pants, slacks, or a leather skirt. Since this top is black and white, any colored bottom would match with it whether its black, blue or off-white. This top can take you from the office to dinner and drinks.
One of my favorite trends this fall is an embroidered bomber. Bomber jackets are great for fall and winter because they're practical for the cooler weather but are also fashion-forward options for this season. Embroidered bombers are a great option for casual-wear and look great with heeled booties or over the knee boots and distressed jeans or high-waisted pants.
This sequin dress is super fun and great for going out to a club or any event that requires cocktail apparel. The snakeskin design is fun but still neutral. I love backless dresses like this one because they are fun to wear. A backless dress like this can be work with either a backless and strapless bra or concealers. A bold dress like this would look great with a solid colored heel like black or a bright color like pink or red.
Another one of my favorite trends right now is bodysuits and olive green. What i love about this particular bodysuit is the the combination of both olive green and a bodysuit. The lace on this bodysuit makes it a great top to wear during fall. Bodysuits are one of my favorite new trends because they give you a seamless tucked-in look and you never have to worry about your top un-tucking itself from your bottoms. A lace bodysuit can be paired under a loose blouse or a sweater or just on its own for a night out. When wearing a lace bodysuit on its own, I would recommend wearing the bodysuit with either high-waisted jeans or a skirt to minimize the sheer look. High-waisted bottoms would still give the top a sheer look while still being modest.
My final favorite look from the Topshop's current petite collection is this basic leather jacket. Although I own faux leather jackets in almost every color, I feel like a basic black leather jacket, whether its a "moto" style or not, is a closet staple. Leather jackets pair with nearly everything, with an exception for workout clothes and evening gowns. They look great over a work blouse, a cocktail dress, and jeans and a t-shirt.
